Here are a few questions I get about my services.

  • OK. so how much is this gonna cost me? Well, it depends on a few things: your project’s budget, the amount of time it will take to complete the project, and, generally, how much work is involved. Typically I charge by the hour, but in some instances I’ll charge by the project.
  • How long does it take? Again, this depends on the project. A short press release won’t take very long, but writing blog posts may take a few hours and putting together a media relations campaign or doing some research/fact-checking could take much longer than that.
  • Can you do this project for me for free? You’ll get exposure! Well, unfortunately, I cannot take on “free” projects. This is one of the few means of income for me, and it helps pay my rent and buy groceries and, on occasion, have fun.¬†Writing is a skill I’ve worked very hard to achieve, and I’ve spent many years putting time and effort into getting better and better. But the good news is, whatever you spend, I want you to say, “Wow, that was totally worth it.” That would make my day.
  • Do you take photos for blog posts and other projects? Yes, I can take some photos, but I am NOT a professional photographer by any means. Years of being a journalist at small, family-run community newspapers has given me a variety of skills, including¬†fairly OK photography skills. Photography may be included at an extra nominal cost. If you need something a little more professional in the photography arena, I know a LOT of professional photographers I can refer you to.
